OUR STORY

Founded in partnership with the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts (HCA) in 2001, HCA Dance + Theatre (HCADT) was established as a non-profit organization with a mission to foster dance excellence through artist collaboration and the presentation of high-quality performances.

In 2026, the organization underwent a name change to HCA Society, reflecting the organization's commitment to the community it serves. With over 25 years of dedication to the Hamilton arts community, we continue to evolve alongside the ever-changing arts landscape.

Today, HCA Society proudly presents three flagship projects: Dances at the Bay, the Performing Art Sundays Series, and our Children's Arts Exploration Field Trips - showcasing world-class excellence in music, dance, and theatre, offering community-building arts activities, and enriching arts education for tomorrow’s arts enthusiasts.

OUR TEAM

Our mission is to enrich the artistic and cultural landscape of Hamilton, Ontario with high-quality professional performing arts presentations and opportunities for artist development. Our vision is to cultivate a professional artistic environment for future generations in Hamilton and beyond.
